Sunday at home

I've spent 2 Sundays at home now.

It feels really weird staying at home I mean...well staying in my room the whole day feels weird.

I spent the day watching movies and reading my books. It's been a long time since I've opened a book. I kinda miss it. Watching movies and reading books for me usually means theres something wrong. Maybe there is...who am I kinding...yeah there's something wrong...some of the friends know what it is...I'm still trying to get over it. But who am I kidding I probably won't get over it...

I'll go back to reading my book...it's a lot more quiet in my mind if I do that...

A Night at Embassy

Last night was Embassy night!

We actually spent the whole week trying to figure out what to wear for last night. Bottomline is...well I think we put a little bit too much effort into it. We could have gone in regular clothes and still get into the club.

The crowd really didn't pick up until around 1 in the morning. We got there around 12:30am. The 30 minutes we waited was actually the most boring time I've had in a club. But when it picked up it was a blast! We danced the night away. The club had limited selection of drinks which was kind of a bummer. At the end of the night (which was around 3:30 am - THANKS BOYETTE! :P) we had fun.

I can't believe I still made it to badminton today. I have to go now...till next time...

Unproductive day

Been working on the same thing for the past 2 days and unortunately I'm still unproductive...I can't same to make the damn thing work!!!

I've been busting my brains out on how to make it work but it seems like my brain is not working! ARGH!!! I hate this feeling.

I called a friend earlier to take a break from what I was doing and for a sanity check but unfortunately my friend was busy watching something...he said he was gonna call back...I guess he forgot...

Anyway, the guys and I are going out later on tonight. I have to start getting ready soon...vanity kicks in!

Phone call

Couldn't sleep last night...

I waited for a return call but it never came...

Didn't get to sleep until around 6 this morning...

The lack of sleep definitely showed during my badminton training this afternoon...I felt so sluggish...

I really have nothing much to write about now...no inspiration whatsoever...

Badminton day

I didn't get home until 5 this morning.

My designated buddy was the one who was actually drunk and I ended up watching him instead of the other way around but it was all fun.

I do have a lot of people to thank for helping me out last night. A good friend gave me a pretty good pep talk and I'm hoping that it'll help me in the days to come.

It's time for me to head to my badminton game. Later.

Tournament at the office

The finals for the table tennis tournament at the office is today.

I had the guts to actually go to work today. After all, I did promise my good friend Dennis that I would get my a$$ out of my bed and get myself to work. I did promise to help out with preparing for the programme today.

It's barely 9 pm and I have to admit I am sorta tipsy. I guess I drank a little too fast. I have to get back to doing the commentary on the game and I don't want them to worry about me being gone for a long time.

Don't feel like working today...

I'm at home...

Didn't really feel like going to work today...

Still wallowing...sulking...moping...

I don't think the other person is as affected by this as I am...but that's life right...

I'm under strict order to be at work tomorrow...I hope I have the strength to face tomorrow and the next day and the day after that...

Worst day ever

Who knew that a simple trip to Starbucks would actually change your outlook for the day and make it the worst day ever of your whole entire life? But then again, as everyone says life's a bitch.

I've cried my heart out already I think...I don't think I can cry anymore than I've already had...

On to better things...today was my first badminton training day. I actually played a whole hour. My whole body really hurts right now. I should probably do more stretching before I actually start playing. It was fun and tiring at the same time. Jonathan, my trainor, actually asked me if I wanted to extend for another hour. All I could do was give him a smile and I think he got the point. I'm basically having trouble with my footwork right now. So he says we'll work on that in the next sessions. My next training is on Monday next week.

Time for me to head home now...maybe wallow, sulk, mope around...I dunno...

First week back

It's Saturday. I've been in Manila for a week now. It was pretty good week...well except for Tuesday night...which I really would rather not think about right now.

Anway, moving on. Augs, Dennis and I had dinner in Centro and met up with some of th guys in Cafe Bola. We finally did get to go out singing last night. Red Box in Greenbelt was as usual fully booked so we decided to head on over to IO KTV in Jupiter. Just our luck...it was also booked but there were people waiting so we decided to just wait with them. We, I think were 12th or 15th in line.

We got in around a little past 11:30 pm. It was me, Boyette, Don, Augs and Franco. We ended up singing out hearts out the whole night. Aug's friend Patrick arrived around 2 am just about the same time that Lil' Boyette left. We just kept on singing until our TV screen went blank. Only then did we realize that it was already 4 am.

We decided to head on home. After all some of us had plans for Saturday itself.

I got up pretty late today. Despite waking up late I was still able to make it to the 5pm badminton game. :) We finished badminton around 7pm. I decided to head to the office since I really didn't feel like going home yet.

I'm still at the office right now. Just watching some of the shows. I think I'll be heading home in a while. Maybe...

Friday night

I'm in the office right now waiting for Augs and Dennis to finish work so we can head on over to Greenbelt for dinner and maybe a night of singing. I'm seriously deprived of gimik nights. The only time that I really did go out when I was in the US was when I got to Arizona and Las Vegas.

I just hope that there isn't that much people in Greenbelt so we can get a room in Red Box. Anyway, I think they're done...time to head on over to Greenbelt.

Sleepy Sunday

Owing to the fact that I really didn't get much work done yesterday, I'm heading over to work.

But I'm really tired so, I think I'll take a short nap first.

Usual Saturday

It's the usual Saturday. Well, not really usual.

It's Nathan's birthday party today. I took Ian there. He had a pretty good time. I just realized, I haven't taken my brothers out in such a long time. I remember there used to be a time that we would go out practically every weekend. Watch a movie...eat somewhere...go hang out...Hmmm...the good old days.

I went to work this afternoon (yeah, I know its pretty crazy considering it's my first weekend back). There's just some more work that needs to be finished before next week thus work over the weekend. Anyway, bottom line is I didn't get much work done because by the time I got to work it was only a couple of hours before we had to head on over to Pioneer to play badminton.

We didn't get to the court until around 7pm. The meeting time was at 5pm. Franco forgot the keys to his cabinet to he had to go home and get another pair. Chay, Don and guys were kind enough to extend for another hour. We played until around 8 pm. It was nice to get to play badminton again after such a long time of not playing. I sorta sucked but I was eventually getting the hang of it.

After the game, we got changed and had dinner at Metrowalk in Ortigas. It's the first time I've been there. It's a pretty nice place. Maybe my friends and I should hang out there sometime. Anyway, I'm at the offive again. Just dropping off some things. It's time for me to head home.

Back in Makati

It's my first day back in Makati.

I actually went to work today. Maybe I should have just spent today at home at least I could have rested more. As weird as it may sound, I'm sorta excited to get to work. Those who know me already probably have a good idea why I am. :) Well, it was pretty much the same at work from the time I left. I didn't get to do much work but I'm sure I'll be back to normal by next week.

I don't think we're going out tonight which really kinda sucks for me right now. I don't really feel like going home early tonight. I guess I'll stay here at work. :(

Oh wait change of plans...we're going out for dinner tonight. Well dinner and some drinks just to cap of the week. Time to go now. I think we're gonna head over to Krocodile in Greenbelt 3.

Back in Manila

I'm back in Manila. I got here around 5 pm. Waited an hour at the airport for Benjo. I decided to passby Duty Free to get pasalubong for the people at work. I got home around 2 hours ago.

My flight from LA was suppose to leave at 10am LA time. It got pushed back to 12 noon...the only good thing is that they changed it to a non-stop flight.

I called people that I needed to call and informed them that I got back already. :) I think it was a good thing that I came from Arizona. The difference in the weather isn't so bad.

Anyway, I really can't stay that long. I still have to unpack.

My LAST day! WAH!

Today is my last day here...well at least it was suppose to be my last day.

I decided to catch some more sun this morning before getting ready to head to the airport. It was too hot...I didn't last that long outside. I decided to get ready for my flight. We left the house around 1. We passed by Krispy Kreme to buy 5 dozen doughnuts as pasalubong. We also passed by the gelatto shop to get my last dose of gelatto.

I got to the airport around 2. The Skycap guy who help me was nice and just asked me to pay for one of my overweight luggage. At least I saved $2. :) I got so much attention because of the Krispy Kreme I was carrying. I don't blame them. Krispy Kreme is the best doughnuts in the world!

Anyway, my flight left on time. I got to LAX around 5 pm had to walk a real long walk to get to the International terminal. When I get to the terminal, a guy working for Philippine Airline informs me that the flight has been cancelled and the new flight won't be leaving till tomorrow morning. :( I couldn't believe it...somehow, I guess some part of me really wants to head home.

The airlines provided us with accomodations and meal stubs. I'm in the hotel right now. It's not the best hotel in the world but I guess it'll do since we'll be staying here just for the night. I really should get some sleep...good night!

Celebration...NOT!

When we got back from Carefree, we all changed into our swim suits and started the barbeque. Well, actually Nusun started the barbeque while me, Scilla and Apaul sun bathed hehehehe :).

We had chicken, ribs, grounded meat and a whole lot of other food. We had too much food I think but we all enjoyed it. We finished eating and decided to drop by my Ate Elaine's work place...The Gelatto Spot! GELATTO TIME!!! WOOHOO!!!

The place was about 15 minutes away from the house. When we got there Ate ordered each of us a gelatto which was the perfect dessert after the good food we had this afternoon.

On the way to the casino (to pick up lola and auntie), we decided to stop by cheesecake factory. I distinctly remember my kuya craving for cheesecake. Hmmm...I've lost count on how many times my kuya said that he wasn't gonna eat anymore than he needs to but somehow he always ends up eating everything we bring home. :) I also got Mommy Butch a pig stuff toy from the Cheesecake factory.

Well, tonight is my last night. I'm almost done packing. I can't believe my vacation is over. I hope that I don't forget anything. I guess it doesn't matter, Benjo will be going ther in October anyway, he can just bring home my things. I'm gonna miss my cousins.

My flight leaves at 4 pm tomorrow. I'll be catching my flight back to Manila in LA. I don't wanna go...maybe I should just stay here. I know I shouldn't...I have to get back to packing...Crap! I just got in touch with Southwest Airlines. They only allow 3 50lbs luggage for check in. If the luggage exceeds 50lbs I need to pay $25 per bag that exceeds the limit. :( I don't really have a choice...anyway, as I said back to packing...

4th of July

It's the 4th of July here in the US of A. It's Independence day. There's gonna be a lot of fireworks later on tonight. I think we're gonna try and catch the one near the University of Arizona in Tempe.

Since it is the 4th of July, we decided to empty the freezer of all the meats and have a barbeque. :) But before that we're gonna head over to Carefree first to look at the new house. Will continue this later...

Back in Arizona

We're back in Arizona from our Vegas road trip.

We left Vegas after lunch. I pretty much slept the whole way home. It was Kuya and Jeff's turn to drive anyway. Kuya and I are gonna leave in a while to pick up Apaul. She's finally gonna spend the night here. It was really too bad she didn't get to go with us to Vegas.

Las Vegas

Just got home from a night out in Vegas with my cousins and their friends...

I promised them one thing...WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS STAYS IN VEGAS...

That's all I have to say about it.

Road trip

ROAD TRIP!!!!

I have no idea how it happened but somehow we're heading to Vegas. We're just packing our clothes and then we're off. Me and Scilla will be driving to Vegas. It's about a 4 hour drive. We're meeting Phyllis and Lani there. This is gonna be fun.

Can't stay long...my lola is already waiting for us in the car. I don't think I've ever seen her get ready that fast. :) She says we're taking too long...go figure!

VEGAS here we come!

Shopping day

I picked up Apaul this morning.

I finally decided to finish my shopping so at least I have that done and over with. Apaul and I went to the Fashion Square mall in Scottsdale which is five minutes away from her house.

The mall has all of the frickin' shops that I love!!! ARGH!!! Anyway, we were able to get some stuff for Mommy Butch. I was also finally able to get the jeans from A&F. I think its pretty much a qualification that you have to look like a model or be a super hottie to work in A&F.

We finishe our shopping in about 2 hours. My mobile phone was ringing off the hook cause my aunt was wondering what was taking us to long. Anyway, Apaul will be spending the night at the house...I seriously doubt we'll be getting any sleep but hey at least it'll be an interesting night! ;)
